  I've eaten here since 2003 when I was attending Northland College and came to the area for a mountain biking course. The food has ALWAYS been amazing and the servers have ALWAYS been amazing too!!! This is an amazing Diner that is smack dab in the middle of the forest! It seems so out of place, like it was just air dropped in. My favorites are the stuffed french toast, the Norwegian Pancakes, and the omelettes but pretty much anything is amazing here. I like that they pay their staff a decent wage and don't mind that it adds a to the bill, i usually paid more in tips while i was there before they implemented this because the servers/staff are always professional and helpful. Yes, sometimes the food takes a little while and it doesn't all come out at the same time, but that is all explained both in signage as well as by the servers. I don't mind the wait because there is always good conversations and the food is SOOOOO worth waiting for. I can't say enough about this place! Thank you for introducing the north woods to such great food and hospitality

  The best breakfast diner I have ever been to; It is the one thing I look forward to the most when I will be in the area. The steak and eggs comes with a healthy size steak cooked to perfection. The bourbon french toast is Rich and creamy on the inside and seared to a nice light crunch on the outside and topped with a delicious sauce that makes syrup unneeded (though a bit small and would not be enough for me if it is all I ordered. A friend and I shared one as a side to the meals we ordered). Prices are a little high compared to most breakfast places, but this is a perfect example of you get what you pay for and it is well worth every penny!

  If you were to pan for gold in the Wisconsin Northwoods, you would eventually find the gem that is the Delta Diner. If you're passing even *close* to this on your route, it's worth going out of your way to grab some jalepeno pancakes (yes, really) or any of the other items on their exquisite menu. I can't wait to go back.
